The St. Katharine Drexel, St. Vincent de Paul Walk for the Poor will be held on the SKD campus Saturday, September 24, from 9 to noon. Signups are that morning, from 8-9 AM. $15 per walker includes a t-shirt. All the proceeds are used locally. On September 9, the Church celebrates the feast of Blessed Frederic Ozanam, the founder of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul. Frederic heard the call of Jesus to love and serve those who are suffering. And in the poor he found the face of Christ.
