Children normally receive the first Holy Eucharist in second grade. Children who are enrolled in our Religious Education program will be prepared to receive for the first time the Sacrament of Reconciliation and Holy Communion.

Our Sacramental preparation program follows the guidelines from the Diocese of Sacramento. Students must attend one full year of formation before beginning their sacramental preparation class. This means that students have to participate in two consecutive years of faith formation culminating in the reception of the sacrament.
